Deep Freeze


Keep smiling to your self , try to keep them guessing
Whilst wounded deep inside you won't heal without 
dressing
When that smile turns to a laugh you start to reveal  all 
the cracks
Those bulging fissures that you filled may burst and spill 
all that you lack

I know you don't cry when there's something in your 
eyes
I know think you've got direction to your life
And after all you might find that the light stays on 
when the door shuts and the deep freeze kicks in to 
comfort you

Keep talking to yourself but please don't pay attention 
You could bore yourself to death With all the dross you 
mention
When you've nothing more to say And your mind has 
rusted shut
You'll just keep it to yourself Until you  pull your final 
plug
