80's time warp Not terribly original but tight. THe vocals area dead ringer for some 80's band i can't put my finger on right now. - harry_hood from Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada on 26Apr2001 Sex Pistols with circus type music Loved the singing. I like the Euro-punk voice going on. Music was pretty cool. Not my usualy taste, but everyone's different. - Sumer from Dickinson, North Dakota on 15Feb2000 Devo-like Sounds like DEVO/Cars - ALTAR_EGO from Panama City Beach, Florida on 1Nov2000 Going somewhere Very well done - vocal do tend to be drowned out by the great music - just537myself from Worcester, Massachusetts on 8Oct2000 Prog-new wave 2001. XTC inspired prog-new wave was never my thing even back in the day. i must say they got it together pretty good though. - natasinst from West Covina, California on 26Apr2001 hey........ this really isn't my style but i'll give you respect on the fact i haven't heard much like this before.........and it is a little catchy.......good luck!!! - rktz from Corona, California on 30Jul2000 Ska/Punk reminded me of No Doubt, liked it though - lickwidXhottie from Mission Viejo, California on 4Jun2000 good, but not for me interesting intro. i had no idea where you were going. im not a big fan of ska, but this is pretty good. my only suggestion is do not add a horn section(most that do, are loser high skool band geeks). i like the keyboards. - aeeen from Cleveland, Ohio on 23Feb2001 band my very best tv show is now on - nonothing from Springfield, Missouri on 9Dec1999 good production high quality product very interesting piece that sounds like an upbeat combination of ska and rock. Sounds like the creative rock of a 70's band that you may have found for the who or queen or any of those creative high production bands. High production is always good when it sounds good. - beingreenohow from Brooklyn, New York on 3Oct2000 hop rockin' along all night long!!!!!!!! a simply rolliking tune!! Its different from what I'm used to so I'm not really sure what to say about this energetic tune. It seems like there's a beat missing in there but I'm not sure - dr.stephenstien from Saint Clair Shores, Michigan on 28Jun2000 New Wave in the New Millenium! The song kicked, but sounded kind of dated - new wave comes to mind - an 80's kind of tune. Organ was a bit cheesy, and not a lot of range in the vocal. - elman007 from Lake In The Hills, Illinois on 5Jan2000 upbeat lots of energy, could be a more dynamic mix - webcat from Modesto, California on 27Jul2000 Pretty in Punk the intro totally faked me out-I was ready for a slow song-good job. Not bad punk, kinda traditional, and the track seems jumpy at spots (I think it's the recording, not the song). - baltimoretim from Baltimore, Maryland on 3Aug2000 Oh yeah... Pretty cool - reminds me of old Replacements. Nice to hear this style is not forgotten! Keep it up! - Kak from Orlando, Florida on 21Nov2000 weird Dinky sounding keyboards! lose em. - TheDive from Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 2Jul2000 Ska ska ska Pretty fun. The conversation in the background adds a nice dimension to the song. Overall it's pretty tight. - daisygirl7 from Santa Cruz, California on 4Aug2000 The song that's squeakier than a mouse. I honestly do not like the track. You could hardly hear the lyrics to the song. There's too much instruments playing at the same time; it makes the song sound irritating. To make this track better, I think you should emphasize the sounds of some instruments and take out the squeaky sounding ones. It'd do your listeners a favor from covering our ears. - elicabeta from Miami, Florida on 31Jan2000 Totally cool I LOVED this track. The music was AWESOME. it has a VERY "hey, loosen up" feel. But the male vocals needed to be a little bit more interesting. - HotShot911 from Delta, British Columbia, Canada on 31Jan2001 not bad nice tempo and feel, it just sounds a bit cheesy. the weird keyboards or something... not a bad track though... - theend from N/A, Missouri on 20Jan2000 Nice work Good stuff, i love the throw back to the 80's new wave vibe you guys get. it's got the goodness i think elfman himself would appreciate. stick with it. - VariableK from Los Angeles, California on 18Oct2000 Original!!! Hi, I like this kind of music, but try to check the audio file, because there is something strange about the bars??? If it is not the audio file, well check some drum break. One word: check it, and it'll be ok. Guy - frenchguy from Paris, Seine, France on 28Apr2001 Meh! Could be better. OKay, but the intro is a little annoying i would say good tune and lyrics and good band, but not great music nothing wrong with the song, just not my taste - Robin_Graves from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on 10Nov2000 Kinda like new Devo i like this song because it sounds like something from the 80's Devoesque. It's not that stand out though. Nothing special. - red_shift from Lakewood, Ohio on 8Mar2001 The new DEVO Rather redundant with a touch of DEVO I think. I like the tempo and the originality. - DistortedVision from Corona Hills, California on 26Jul2000 Fun pop Takes too long to get to the verse. Other than that, nice '80s feel. Kinda like Madness meets Adam Ant. - hyperlunch from Edina, Minnesota on 20Sep2000 truly bizzare GREAT! i love it! very Devo-esk, but still orignal. very fun. it puts me ina good mood. - theeggnogs from What Cheer, Iowa on 24Jul2000 The Valley Girl Soundtrack Lost Track Groovy bouncy beat! I would like to hear the vocals sooner. Try to get to the goods quicker! But, overall a real feel good track! - xray from Washington, Dc on 5Oct2000 ELP, YES, with sprinkling of 80's new wave Good tune. The intro is too long. The keyboard needs to pick up the pace on the intro. When the band comes in it sounded like the tempo increased quite a bit. Keep up the good work. It's refreshing to hear creative music. - AndyinMilwaukee from Merton, Wisconsin on 13Dec1999 Strange Tune synth pop. extremely upbeat. kind of an 80s feel. with a lot of David Bowie Mixed in. if you feel like staying with the 80s feel, then more power to ya! PS you might want to re-upload; there are errors in your mp3. - lokiThirteen from Arlington, Virginia on 26Apr2000 80's New Wave very new wavey sounding... a little dated but some nice sounds... tasty drumming.... good solid package - insta from Chicao, Illinois on 19Nov2000 Acid trip at the ball game I really like it. really. really really(?) - RaveL from Macomb, Illinois on 13Feb2001 Confused sound leads to confused listeners I'm not sure what this band wants to be. I hear Devo, I hear Faith No More, I hear pogo pop. Based on a first listen, this song was probably written by more than one person, since so many different styles are present. This band should really decide on a musical identity before writing collaboratively (if that's what happened), or simply go with one person handling the writing. - Mister_Barry from Houghton, Michigan on 23Jan2000
