A Man in Scales Walks Across a Bad 1950's Und.. I hate comparisons but I like the humor. Similar to what I find with Mr. Bungle and Think Tree. I like the double time shift and the farfusa-esque organ. The organ counters the heavy guitars well. The vocals have a vintage 80's (Wall of Voodoo) feel. Guitar solo was ok. Overall fun cut. I'd love to produce the music video. - keller7 from Waterloo, Iowa on 4Oct2000 Excellent vocals supported by bouncy instrume.. Nice tune. I like the bouncy feel of the instruments. The vocals are excellent however I feel they could be a little more upfront. - mwseniff from Normal, Illinois on 2Oct2000 Ja man Too many effects on the vocals, cool Island vibe ,but meter is off - eden1 from Atlanta, Georgia on 20Sep2000 creep rock Cool vocals, kind of that old-school punk vibe. Good guitar effects and keyboard/organ use. Solid bass. Good drumming. - nevergone from Newberg, Oregon on 15Sep2000 one of the best ive heard yet this song is unique and kix ass. it would be fun to dance and sway to. its really fun.and his voice is awesome! this is one of the best songs ive reviewed so far - Narcissia from Utica, Kentucky on 16Sep2000 oh, the humanity! oh my god. it's like marilyn manson took trent reznor's style and destroyed it. oh wait. he already has. what have you done? - meakim from Rockland County, New York on 1May2000 Faith no More beta version This song has a good groove and the production is pretty darn good. But it takes a while to get going, and the listener really has to want to stay interested. Eventually there is a payoff as the song picks up, but if the beginning could be built some more, then it would definitely help. The energy is there, it just needs to get stoked. Keep at it, gang. - Underatlas from Wilkesboro, North Carolina on 12Aug2000 diff carry on - VoodooMonkeys from Sydney, Australia, New South Wales, Australia on 24Aug2000 Angry funk metal with 80's feel. This teeth-gritting vocals thing is getting so old. Semi-Angry Limp Bizkit/Korn feel. Zzzzzzz - Charlton_Heston from San Antonio, Texas on 29Nov1999 Rock Good production, silly song. What can I say? I didn't like it. The singer sounds constipated, thats not my style. I want more. - SalsaDeath from Trenton, New Jersey on 25Apr2000 well... I like it... I really like the music. good drumming. The vocals sounded awful in 11kbps real audio stream, but i couldn't give a proper review of them unless I heard a better quality review. - princeganon from Oakland, California on 9Aug2000 First song of a great carear To be honest, I loved this track. I wish I could find something to criticize them on, but I enjoyed it that much. It had a hard rock sound with a reggae feel to the background music. I would definately buy this and see them live, if their other stuff is as good as this - azrael492 from Canton, Ohio on 1Oct2000 Not Every Day Rave Not my bag but definately could picture trancing and dancing at a rave to this song. - coven13 from Boston, Massachusetts on 6Jun2000 Manson ORGY Megadeth The Cure Together at las.. I like the idea. It has a cool vibe. There is a lot to be said about sounding good on this site. It isn't easy to have a good sound with real audio. You have achieved it. Give yourselves some props from me. I enjoyed what I heard but net congestion forced me to bail. Wait it just came back on. I like the use of the keys. Guitar solo could be juiced a bit. Bailed again. PEACE! - g2v from Rutherford, New Jersey on 7Aug2000 skmtl Metal Ska? Mr. Bungle, this ain't. - fascist_bu8062 from Orem, Utah on 12Nov1999 Very modern sound... Fish life. Keep up the good work guys. - VSShade from Winfield, New Jersey on 30Aug2000 well done well done - MISSOURIMURRY from Cape Girardeau, Missouri on 8May2000 not boring If butthole surfers were really aggro, I'm guessing they'd sound like this. Kinda like Brainiac too. I just liked this. Had tons of things happening, definately not boring. - lipsocrimson from Lincoln, Nebraska on 14Jan2000 This song has the beat in which it beats othe.. i like the beat. it is good. i would probly listen to it again... - nikki_coco from Lakeland, Florida on 26Aug2000 Mr. Bungle in the Jungle. Good use of weird keyboard texturing. I'd have liked to hear the main part taken just a bit slower, with a thicker, less frantic bass line. - Frosty from Thompson, Manitoba, Canada on 7Dec1999 I think I broke my brain... This reminds me of Mr. Bungle - sunplow from Gloucester, Ontario, Canada on 19Sep2000 Weird Just plain weird...at least it is original sounding. - mfwinzlow9402 from Tampa, Florida on 18Nov1999 Here fishy, fishy! Felt like I was in the bottom of a fish tank and was being tortured by a demented keeper, feeding me way too much, cleaning my tank all the time, adding too many 'festive' ornaments to keep me company. Interesting lyrics. - medusa2083 from Denver, Colorado on 16Sep2000 HEAVY ROOGO IRIE, MON - davidh2483 from Hampton, Virginia on 13Nov1999 Q: Are we not men? Ah, devolution.... the carnival groove is one of my favorites, by the way, and I like some of the effects in the song, but it feels sort of empty to me. The drums are really, really sharp sounding... they pop out of the mix amazingly - EricCharles from Seattle, Washington on 5Jul2000 I remember Devo. I might have to leave this sort of intense jerky midriff-baring stuff to the younger folk. Backwards evolution indeed. I remember Devo had a whole philosophy built around that. - james_mcdonough from Korumburra, Victoria, Australia on 13Sep2000 Dramatic, storytelling-ish tune. The melodies are really catchy. It's got an evil-groove thing to it. Maybe a key change would spice it up a bit, but other than that, no negative comments. - relevant from Phoenix, Arizona on 9Jan2000 a good mix interesting track you have here.good beat & sounds. - sage11 from Bremen, Ohio on 10Sep2000 Freak circus kidnaps new wave group Well this is refreshing to be sure. Kind of reminds me of Oingo Boingo. I would suggest a key change, or some type of drastic change. Seems a little repetative without. - Tantalum_in_me from Salt Lake City, Utah on 11Oct2000 FNM These Faith No More fans get their kicks on groovy rhythms and cool hooks. Really great music, but bad soundquality. Did you guys check the decoding quality? By the way, Faith No More is dead! - Mr_T from Nijmegen, Netherlands on 24Mar2000 Interesting song I like this track because it had a little Faith No More vibe to it. The changes were good, but the lyrics were a bit hard to understand. - loco4juana from Miami, Florida on 1Jul2000 db cooper meets alice cooper comes through rather muddy on the g2 i'm sure it sounds better on a 'real' system. did you listen on diff systems try compressing the percussion/ bass - speedjr from Long Beach, California on 29Apr2000 lick my elephant clowny i'm not hip to the mr. bungle vibe, in fact i wish i hadn't heard this, ahhh, but it ain't so bad, circus poodles! - wumepue from Allendale, Michigan on 10Sep2000
