good Lead vocal I can hear you loud adn clear, good job not hiding behind your band. the first refrain could use a little less precussion to not drown out the guitars. guitars; you all sound great. the ending could be a bit more smooth. good song overall - tiger_cub from Annapolis, Maryland on 30Oct2000 talented vocals i can hear talent in the vocal for sure the timing of the drummer needs some serious attention. the tempo wavers quite a bit. i like the origionality or this track. well done - ibjamie from Laguna Hills, California on 1Nov2000 pull up your pants, American! i really dig the fast break down section in middle where the vocalist starts yelling. its got plenty of variation and a snotty smarmy attitude that kills. pretty nifty overall. - waxlips from Roanoke, Virginia on 3Oct2000 Sex Machine This song reminds me of Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine. Nice. I wonder if that is an influence for you. - torch from Orem, Utah on 3Oct2000 And now for something completely different. Good originality; good instrumental effects.I'd like to hear a little more variety in the tune; it's a bit repetitious but I really appreciate the uniqueness of the music. - Leigh3 from Joseph, Oregon on 12Sep2000 well done, lads! Hard to tell over my tiny speakers if the production coulda been better (to get that clean rock-of-the-'80s sound) but overall a thumbs-up for a cool Ultravox-y presence. - bufadora from Los Angeles, California on 30Mar2000 Want eclectic? Rush smashes into the London Philharmonic and gains a New Wave twitch in the process... interesting! - I_Am_Legion from Charlotte, North Carolina on 12Aug2000 mix mush the mix is mush. - SteveDigre from Rochester, Minnesota on 9Aug2000 catchy 80's - early 90's Brit-rock flavor To my ears, this has a distinctly 80-early-90's retro feel about it, with the exception that with all the [rather interesting] tempo changes, the musical fabric is more texturally complex now than it was before. I find the song generally quite catchy. The lead vocal is expressive, and actually, the musicianship in general is very good.My only misgiving about it's commercial viability is the concern over whether it has enough of it's own stylistic 'signature' be clearly ID'd from any of its earlier competition. Overall: Quality work that may need to distance itself a bit more from its precedessors' work [with an even more distinctive signature sound]. - researchchick from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 27Aug2000 Rawk on WELL, there's not much more to say than, good work, keep it up! - sunplow from Gloucester, Ontario, Canada on 9Aug2000 well well - Hatfieldherz from Va, Beach, Virginia on 4Sep2000 ...And A Bottle Of Rum The song had a great amount of energy, and the beat and time of the song itself were catchy. The lyrics were a bit repetitive, and the musicianship of the band could have been showcased a bit more. - patheticbone from Laramie, Wyoming on 29Dec1999 Neat! I'm not used to hearing keyboards in this type of... um, what type of genre is this? Very cool... almost like early Genesis... - Paterson from Lancaster, Ohio on 17May2000 KEEP ROCKING!! THE SONG IS COOL!! IT'S KINDA DARK I LIKE THAT. MAYBE ADD SOME BACK VOCALS THOUGH. THAT WOULD BE COOL TOO. GOOD LUCK GUYS! :) - WET from Pompano Beach, Florida on 6Aug2000 Brit's Vocals sortof sound British, that's cool! You got a tight sound. Good group effect as well. You might want to pump up the vocals...just a bit! - Fretless from Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada on 9Aug2000 stupid accent. I don't like the synths or your accent. go to hell. - BillFitzsimmons from Seattle, Washington on 27Dec1999 Keep up the great work! Out of the 80 songs I've listened to on this site this is far and away the best one I've heard. Keep up the good work. - RaycerX from Stockholm, Sweden on 4Aug2000 Just doesn't reach it. A little on the repetitive side. Ditch the cheesy keyboards. Lacks fire. - thegerm from Hoboken, New Jersey on 12Jul2000 I see... Very 80's sounding cut! Reminds me of Lou Reed in the 70's too. Daring style to play nowadays...not bad. - Polyhymnia from Spring, Texas on 13Apr2000 bad bad bad bad the keaboards sucks!! - EarWax from Oslo, Norway on 3Sep2000 cool good tune - Coolway from Los Angeles, California on 25Aug2000 lo-fi play hurts my interpretation I liked this track but didn't love it. The atmoshpere was really cool, and it rocked, which is pretty hard to do. I don't know about this song. Maybe it's the lo-fi playback - lordcrystal from Omaha, Nebraska on 12Jul2000 crap...I have to crap Not a bad song. I like the production and guitar work. Cool ending, only suggestion I have might be that the song get a better defining point between the verse and the chorus, but I thought it was a good song. Gotta go take a dump - DrewBritt from Gaston, Oregon on 6Jul2000 SOUNDS OK PRETTY COOL - ladybri from Detroit, Michigan on 31Aug2000 neat sound this had a really interesting beat. the synth was a little over the top tone wise. loved the vocalsist's approach. i also really liked the attitude. i would like to hear a little more variation in the chord progresion. this song as cool and reminded me of faith no more and the clash. - superboobs from Los Angeles, California on 5Sep2000 WOO-HOO! Love the voice, love the guitar, love the beat. Ok already, I LOVE THIS SONG! I have been listening to others and they all sound alike. It is teh vocal that separates this one. Keep usuing that one!!!!! Very nice, I have no idea what you are saying but... - Elliesama from Champaign, Illinois on 1Aug2000 Listen to this song Good track, and this band has some good talent. Has good lyrics and good instrumentals - neomatrix10 from Westport, Connecticut on 19Jan2000 iron maiden with synth this reminded me of early maiden..not necessarily a bad thing though. - xyloloop from Chicago, Illinois on 28Aug2000 Good sound it is an ok song, but it is lacking a few elements that I just cant put my finger on. The sound is good. - TMBRGST from Richmond, Virginia on 11Oct2000 British Rock twist. I really like this song. Great chord movement. Like the Vocal Accent. Great change up in the song. Whos the musical genious arranging this song. - MemphisLobster from Morton, Mississippi on 3Jan2000 no comments its ok like the rapid changes at the final of the song - Alucard from Guayaquil, Guayas, Ecuador on 30Apr2000 brit pop at it's weirdest cool... a bit british and a bit 80's.. but that's just my narrow minded pop culture mind with an actual opinion - sometimes_why from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 14Nov1999 newer wave Not bad. I like how it goes through a lot of different parts and stages which gives it a good variety and keeps it interesting. - nothinghappens from Waterloo, Iowa on 19Aug2000 Theyr'e coming to take me away, ha ha. I wanna march - steve_s from Limestone, Tennessee on 30Aug2000 Punkin' oi-hey! Rah-Rah-Rah! Is this band english? They better be. Nothing dumber than a band with a singer that sounds english like some late seventies british punk rocker backed with cheesy keyboards. If they're english I guess it's ok, then. The keyboards still sound cheesy as my dad's feet. - rufus_barfly from Seattle, Washington on 1Sep2000 Boring A little too much of the same over and over.... - L1nda from Cleveland, Texas on 26Aug2000 Don't forget the lard! Some parts are good... - Fellow from Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 9Aug2000 Bowies brother ? Hey, at last. I really like this one. I hear a David Bowie influence. Interesting melodies and rythms. Good production good dynamics good vocals. Really quite excellent - StarGazer from Portland, Oregon on 6Jan2000 Mark E. Smith just went goth! IT sounds like almost a quasi-goth version of a fall song. Very Mark E. Smith like vocals. Who ever produced it did a superb job. A bit too repetitive, it gets boring, there's nothing to move you. Maybe bring make it harder in the chorus or add some sort of counter melody to the synths. Take a listen to some XTC or Cars albums, and see if you can't maybe incorportate some of that into your music, and I'm sure it'll get better. - the_trooper from Mequon, Wisconsin on 3Aug2000
