welcome to the pleasure dome interesting sequencing and arrangement - melodies are nice but the sounds are kind of cheesy... drums sound like they came out of a $50 casio. i like the horn parts and the vocals. very frantic stuff - kinda 80's new wave flavor to it. verses remind me of obscure performance artist momus. great lyrics! a pretty decent song - just not produced well. i wouldn't mind hearing an interesting remix of this tune by someone with a bit more style. - poprobot from Seattle, Washington on 4Jul2001 Eighties? This has a very '80s sound to me. Parts of the song remind me of something like the Pet Shop Boys or T'pau, while the chorus reminds me a little of Wall of Voodoo. While not really my thing, it's interesting, and a cut above most of what I've heard here. - scratchtasia from Kansas City, Missouri on 24May2001 I luv the overall feel, but ..... I like the song. However, vocals are too low, guitars are too high, and keyboards are too high.. The mood is great.. The message maybe too but I can't hear it.. - cnfproductions from Bridgeport/Nyc, Connecticut on 25Jan2001 Excellence, thy name is whatever this song's .. Very very nice work kids. Its actually original, unlike most of the stuff I've been listening to. Add a little background guitar to thick it out a little and it would be perfect (in my opinion) - mrhobo from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on 26Mar2001 rousing makes me want to play darts - heybacon from Ann Arbor, Michigan on 23May2001 Gotta Hear This One I really like the originality. It rocks - IndustrialBoy from Greensboro, North Carolina on 1May2000 This track is great This track was pretty good. I liked the beat of the song and it had a great vibe. The vocals were good, and reminded me a lot of Marilyn Manson or Rob Zombie. The lyrics were pretty easy to understand in most parts. The instrumentals on the track rock. This track is awesome and has a lot of potential. - ZeroChance from New York on 31Jan2000 Next track, please. Not very interesting. - b2leetch2 from Brooklyn, New York on 24Feb2001 Theater has a place in hard music Love the piano and eerie string sound. A big undertaking this song. This would sound best in a darkened amphitheater with an orchestra and some pyrotechnics. - ItsJRWalsh from Arlington, Massachusetts on 8Sep2000 rock on cool track the keyboard licks added a lot to the song good job rock on!!!!! - weevilone from Muscle Shoals, Alabama on 2Jun2000 DONT KISS THE BLARNEY STONE im sure they are well liked in some countries but not on this keyboard i dont like any song that is talked over!!!!!!!! only person that can get away with that s@#t is HENRY ROLLINS - losifer from Westland, Michigan on 16May2001 80's goth feel Has an 80's goth thing going for it. A little to much reverb in the drums for my taste. - brianlbarbee from Louisville, Kentucky on 3Jan2001 I Love a good heavy 6/8 I like this. Kinda reminds me of 'Faith No More' with the instrumentation, but I like the vocals better in this band. The verse lines are distinctive and the chorus offers a strong hook and variation. The only thing I don't like about this song (totally a personal thing) is the heavily flanged digitally processed guitar ... I would have preferred a more natural amped/distorted guitar sound to balance the synth and produced drum sound. - Cueball from Tucson, Arizona on 5Jan2000 what? what the hell was that? - jjaa718 from Albany, Georgia on 29Oct2000 Hmm... Is it me, or was this song written expressly to be the theme to a previously unreleased 1970'd James Bond movie? Heheh... very unique vibe... - Funkapotamus from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada on 19Nov2000 Cool........ I really liked this song. I couldn't get enough of it. I wish you the best of luck in the future. - Enchantress from Unspecified on 22Dec1999 let's look for a style... I liked the chorus, for sure, but the songs seems to search it's style in the first minute, trying a variety of sounds wich I tought were a little gratuitious and innapropriate. - malick from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on 20Feb2001 elfman's stepchild sounds original , maybe you are big fans of danny elfman - nemisi256 from Dearborn Hts., Michigan on 16May2001 Needs a little help Its definitely original but the verse hard to handle vocally. The chorus is easier on the ears. I would emphasize the guitars more and the keys less. - neilroy from Austin, Texas on 20Dec2000 Liked it. All around good rock song, nice production. - choataboy from Cortez, Colorado on 18Sep2000 Rock Show I like the arrangment. The song has an original sound. The bass needs to come out more. - 1mg462 from Valparaiso, Indiana on 23May2001 Queen visits The Adam's Family I'm not sure how many people out there are into the 'Queen performing an Adam's Family theme' sound but I know that I am not. This song did not appeal to me at all for two reasons. (1)way too much keyboard or synthesizer (which ever that was). It seemed to dominate the entire song. (2)the lyrics were Adam's Family-ish along with the sound of the vocals. The words were very hard to understand because of the low pitch. That type of sound was cool once but not many people are into it anymore. Other than those two things it sounded good. It had a nice beat and a definite melody. - evemarie from Tucson, Arizona on 29Feb2000 wow I usually am not easily impressed, but damn, you guys blew me away. Good job! - OO@3330~OO@3330~buttrock69 from Oakland, California on 15Jul2000 Snap! I like the feel. Makes me think of a school dance, or the fall in general. When the leaves change color and the music is rocking. - shraq from San Mateo, California on 5Apr2000 80's mystery rock vocals are low..drums too loud. I think the singer sounds like peter murphy which is a good thing - David_Hara from Red Bank, New Jersey on 25Oct2000 space... the final frontier Ya i think this song would be good on Star Wars, but I dont like Star Wars and I don't really dig this song. - CreedJM25 from Chelsea, Maine on 3Feb2001 nothing rules ohh my god keyboards again !! - ebacicchia from Torre A Mare (Ba), Italy on 16Nov2000 Kick @ss Song This song sounds kinda creepy the way you sing, but it rocks. - dru420 from Connellsville, Pennsylvania on 30Jun2000 Very Cool Very odd, but I like that! Good job dudes. http://www.mp3.com/robertgrigg - thegrigg from Orange Park, Florida on 13May2000 Existential Crying - Nice! The chord changes lend themselved to the madness. I like this kind of attitude. It just squeezes the meeaning out of a ridiculous existance. We all should be crying at the end of a day - SweetMedicine from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia on 1Apr2000 Long curly black hair music Too much Abba influence or church rock. Poor try at Faith No More meets W.A.S.P. - NAUjackfan from Tempe, Arizona on 3Jan2001 woo! lots of electronics! and what else? Um, let's see.. Vampires? Goths? I'll bet the moshers mosh to this one. Very waltzy. - rm from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 18May2001 Awesome Alternative This track was pretty good. I liked the instrument playing. Overall the only thing I would change would be to raise the volume a bit on the singers voice so it is a bit more understandable. - jkool from Higginsville, Missouri on 17Jan2001
